From: Onalaska Life - Features: "Holmen's Kevin Schilling couldn't agree more. Schilling was one of several hundred inline skaters to participate in the Metrodome Inline Skating Marathon in April. The 71-lap, 26-mile race around the dome's concourse is billed as the world's only indoor inline marathon.
"Seventy laps, you would think it would be mind-numbingly boring," said Schilling, 46, whose 1 hour, 34 minute, 5.06 second effort at the Metrodome was good enough for ninth in his division."But it wasn't that bad. The pavement was smooth and there is no wind. It was really an interesting experience."
