Inline skating is getting popular in Singapore

Inline skating is getting popular in Singapore, and now seven enthusiasts led by veteran skater Sandy Snakenberg will try to speed skate 24 hours non-stop.

This is done in the hope of breaking a world record, and getting ordinary folks involved.

Sandy said: "During this event it is not just a world record breaking event but also going to be open to the public, a 24-hour Skatetathon, so the public can come register and play with us. Basically they can skate on the inside track, it's almost like a skating slumber party."
