As someone who enjoyed instant success in a deceptively demanding sport, Trey Coomes will be the first to admit he was no stranger to looking bad.
At his best, Coomes is barely more than a blur as he whips around corners and glides at maximum speed lap after lap. But competing against the top inline speed skaters in the state can make for some disheartening moments.
