Bremerton's Andrew Woolfolk did his part to bring home medals from the USA Roller Sports Indoor Inline Speed Skating National Championships last week.
Woolfolk, 8, who competes on the Bremerton Speed out of Skateland, won three medals at the week-long championships that drew 50 teams and about 900 skaters from around the country.
The Speed's Logan Owen, 12, also won a gold medal in the elementary men's novice division. Overall, Bremerton earned two gold medals and two bronze and finished tied for 22nd overall.
Woolfolk earned a bronze in the primary boys event, then teamed with fellow 8-year-old JaPrea Pedesclaux to win the primary boys relay, beating Aidan Murphy-Booth and Jacob Anderson of Shelby, N.C. Woolfolk and Pedesclaux also set a new national record in the relay. Woolfolk then joined with teammate Madeline Virtue, 7, to capture a bronze in the primary mixed relay.
