OMAHA, Neb. -- National athletes roll into Omaha on Sunday for the 2007 USA-Rollersports Championships.
It is the first time Omaha will play host to the speed and figure skating national championships. The 22-day championship will host 3,5000 athletes from all over the United States at the Omaha Civic Auditorium.
Officials said they expect the event to bring $7 million to the metro.
The speed skating championships start Sunday and end Saturday, July 21.
Figure skating starts July 22 and runs through Aug. 5.
To watch it costs $10 for daytime events and $10 for nighttime events. Children under 7 are free.
